Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy

We understand that losing your vision is not something you want and early diagnosis is an important part of reversing or preventing diabetic retinopathy. Normally symptoms of retinopathy can only be mild or not seen until the central seeing area of the retina is affected and if there is any bleeding area in the eye. So with combined efforts of our diabetologist and ophthalmologists, at Dr. Prakash’s Diabetes Speciality Centre, we help you provide the right screening techniques required for early detection of retinopathy.  Patients are advised for retinal examination once a year and the process includes :

  • Checking vision using Artificial Intelligence enabled Equipment
  • Measurement of eye pressure
  • Retinal/Fundus examination of the back of the eye
